Comforts For Baby Kroger Brand Campaign!
I was selected to do this campaign via BzzAgent and give this brand a try. I recieved extra coupons along with coupons for:
- 1 free 5pk of bibs
- 1 free up to 50 ct diapers
- 1 free baby wash
- 1 free baby lotion
- 1 free 72 ct baby wipes
I felt the bibs were of pretty great quality. I had no problem washing them in the machine and they had a plastic like layer between the cloth that helped keep my child's shirt a bit dryer! Of course with a teething mini you need to change the bibs often, but I did not finding myself needing to change her shirt with every bib as well. I give these a 5 out 5!
Diapers:
As my closest Kroger did not have a 50 ct pack I did pick up the 27 ct. I chose the Comforts Chlorine Free diapers in Size 5. The size was perfect and I did feel these didn't give her a rash like I have experienced with my usual Huggies Little Movers. Sometimes she's have a blushed colored bottom every now and then, but with these not a problem! The only negative thing that I had to say is that I feel they don't absorb as well as my Huggies so therefore I go through diapers faster. Which is okay and I would use these diapers again. I give then a 4 out of 5.
Baby Wash:
I chose the Lavender Bath Time by Comforts. I did enjoy the soap as it foams and was easy to get the little booger cleaned and quick. It had a light smell that was just perfect and not too strong. It didn't dry out her skin as I have experienced with Johnson's. It also doesn't take very much to get the baby clean and so therefore you wouldn't use it up fast in my opinion. I would recommend this bath wash and give it 5 out of 5.
The Lotion:
I went with the Soothing Scent for Sensitive Skin. The lotion wasn't very strong and wasn't a heavy lotion either. The problem I had with this is I felt it was very thin and runny. It didn't provide moisture for my child's skin very long. We use Aveeno usually and it does wonders. I was not a fan of this lotion, but was pleased it wasn't a very strong smell. I wouldn't personally recommend this from my experience, but would give this 3 out of 5 stars.
Wipes:
I chose the 72ct wipes for sensitive skin. I absolutely loved these wipes! They weren't drenched in the water like I've experienced with other wipes and the box was mom friendly (meaning I didn't pull out 50 wipes as one time). They weren't heavily scented and have one pillowed side with a soft side which made it easy to clean up those baby faces. I give this particular wipe 5 out of 5.
As for the Kroger brand Comforts for Baby, I give them 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend them to the other mothers I know. I'm not usually won over by a lot of store brands, but this is a brand I feel does a great job and would help save a pinch or two in my purse!
